This is such a topical debate in my house right now...
Earlier this week my mrs cooked me a wonderful pork chop meal...but it just didn't hit the spot like Lamb does...
I remember a time my mrs' father passed and I had her on a plane that day back to Houston (we were living in UK at the time), she left me with our little lad who was around 14months or so at the time, we had barely any groceries, but I went into the freezer and found some minted lamb chops that I'd bought god knows how long before - so I cranked up the bbq and sat him outside in his high chair while I cooked.
This little lad of mine devoured 3 of them!! I mean they didn't touch the sides, in a matter of moments he'd chomped his way through all 3 and was gnawing away on the bones!
So for that reason and that reason alone - I've gone for lamb! But you've got to have some mint sauce and definitely some gravy!
