By fondest memory of Morientes comes from 'This Is Football 2'. The way Peter Drury would shout 'Morientes!!' whenever he had an effort on goal is something that I enjoyed.

We don't really have much cause to laugh at them given the absolute dog turd players we've signed in the past few years.
Plenty of our fans laughed at them when they signed Salah, "he was rubbish with Chelsea not suited to the premiership" we said while celebrating signing Gilfi.

This is the one that stands out for me.

The weeks leading up to him signing had every rs telling me to watch youtube and this lad they were linked that was a mix of Maradona and Pele, not like them to overstate things.

Still a source of amusement today at how gash he was, and I don't let any one of them forget their scouting genius regarding his transfer.
