Pochettino sacked

Not really sure how any Evertonian can say they are not fussed on an extremely effective chairman, who's easily one of the best in English Football, bar none.

Might not be to everyone's cup of tea, but he managed to swing Spurs a new stadium, and supported their rise.... remember where they were 10 years ago, or even further back 20 years ago, he's done amazingly, i'd have him at Everton in a heartbeat, that said, I do think him sacking Poch is the wrong decision.
Think you answered it there mate. He's "not everyone's cup of tea". He's not mine. But I respect him as a business man. No question.
And, I'd love Pochettino here. Not happening though.

Yeah I think so too. It just doesn't feel well thought out at all. Where do they really see Mourinho taking them and what about his style makes them believe he will actually get where they want? I don't see clear, positive answers to those questions.
Since confirmed less than an hour ago the overwhelming reaction, other from some diehard spuds fans, is one of indifference.
All say exactly what you've stated.
As ever, I've got my own team to worry about, but if I was fan of their's I would be worried.
Another car crash.

United learnt the hard way with Mourinho that short-termism will do more damage than good in the medium to long-term.

I think he'll do some good work there, before leaving them in a grim state when he leaves.

....I had a view that Mourinho had his time and was now a bit spent, it’ll be interesting to see if he’s still got a big job in him. I actually quite like the bloke and wish him well.

i remember Ray Wilkins saying;

“there are two types of ‘P‘ when it comes to transfers; Proven and Potential. Mourinho likes to buy Proven”.

i just wonder how he and Levy will work, with Mourinho liking to buy a new team and Levy careful with the purse strings.
Going to stick a few quid on Spurs winning the FA cup this season.

Mourinho knows what he is getting into so he has either agreed a budget he is happy with or will work with youth.

I think he will do well there and it's just a shame we couldn't have tested the waters first.

Wow, 10 hours between the sacking and appointing a new one, great job nonetheless. Jose...well, it will be fun.

If he gets them one trophy he will have left them in a better state than he found them. Regardless if he he leaves the first team in tatters or leaks owners emails exposing him for trafficking and breaks the door on his way out.
