excuse just chat about few good players but be interested what you all think and how honest you can be.. confession time...

In current team I watched Coleman for half a season totally confused why this guy who had nothing but enthusiasm was being given so many chances. Loved his attitude and could sort of see why he did well at Blackpool. No composure I reckoned, looks like the ball is never under control and haven't seen him show any defensive nouse. Now...maybe one of our most important players, can see defenders on edge as soon as he gets momentum up, unpredictable in a positive way and disciplined when he has to be.

Joe Parkinson... for a few games convinced this was a practical joke. Looked like a park player. No authority, class, pace. By the time his career sadly cut short he looked like the most underrated midfielder in the league. calm, read the game brilliantly, vision...still no pace though.

Worst one ever maybe...Peter Reid...he came with a decent reputation but with huge injury worries. Was replacing McMahon in many ways and the odd decent touch couldn't hide the guy could barely move or tackle and looked lost in a blue shirt. Then he got a bit angry and it turned out okay

I was fuming when Moyes signed Neville, he turns out to be a good player in the end then I went back to fuming a the end of his career.

Gibson was a major one for me. Thought we were just signing a poor United reject but I'm glad to say he proved me wrong, he's been class for us.

Recently, Neville. Would never have signed him but overall contributed a hell of a lot to this era of vast improvement.
Joe Parkinson. Did not even look like a pro at first. Amazing development in a short space of time.
Biggest of all tho was Paul Power! Unbelievable impact from an "old and past it Manc reject". They were my precise words. Mea culpa Paul.

not in the same league but that happened with Reid too, he was played for half a season after his legs had gone, some people getting on his back, booed at the beginning and end of his Everton career by a handful of people. makes you cry

sh*t was just thinking about him. loved him by the time he packed in...you would have got long odds

Gibson closely followed by Jags, thought he was pretty average at Sheff United, maybe because he got played in centre mid too often.

Gibson...mostly because I thought we spent our whole transfer kitty on him when we needed a striker. He da man now fo real

Coleman...thought he was almost lucky when things came off for him, can't really explain it, but didn't think he'd develop quite how he did last year

Bilyaletdinov...thought he'd be the best player EVER...sort of

Carsley...I used to weep when I saw him our starting X1, as it just didn't seem, you know, cool. What a neat guy

I'm not saying Victor Anichebe, just yet

I know it seems strange but when Kanchelskis signed I thought we would get nothing out of him. just something inside me was convinced he would go through the motions... off the mark
