What would Rooney be doing in our current set up mate? Other than sitting on the bench as the last of his playing career ebbs away. Him leaving to the MLS was good for both parties, even if he did cry about being forced out.

I thought so too, until I was subjected to Cenk this season. Can’t help but think that Rooney with instructions to stay up front would be a more effective option.
