I'm not that bothered about who's leaving, to be honest. The retirees will probably toddle off into the sunset, but other than that there's no one I'm desperate to see the back of.

As long as the new man has the players he wants, I'm happy with that. I think there's a place for pretty much everyone, as long as they fit the system.

McCarthy is more than capable of being a very good defensive midfielder. He's not the best passer though, but it isn't his game and doesn't have to be if we get someone in there alongside him (this is nothing against Barry, who has been very good, but in terms of options going forward then, due to age, McCarthy is the one who has the upper hand)

Was a good goal and down to a good run by Dowell. Great finish though.

No he hasn't been as good, but he has the capability to and when he plays well, the whole team seems to as well...

literally all I've seen of the game is the replay of the goal but by the looks of it we're playing well
