Players Released

Zero, Danny played against him at a lower level, which is where he got his opinion from. However, while he may not actually be the best footballer in the world, he is pretty effective in what he does when he comes off of the bench. He has a good turn on him, is very strong and has a decent enough shot.

Regards to VDM. Watch him do a 'Gravesen' and play a blinder next season, so he can get another contract where he can return to festering.

Ah, so it's a case of I played against Anichebe a while ago and had him in my arse pocket the whole game. Therefore, he's [Poor language removed].

Seriously though, I hope Moyes does invest in another striker so Anichebe can develop his game on loan playing regular football. He's not improving when limited to cameo roles.

Interesting that even with a year left on his contract, VDM wasn't outright released.

I seriously doubt anyone is going to come in for him so that leads us to the only other alternatives:
  • Moyes will release him at a later date
  • Moyes will let him rot in the reserves for another year
  • Moyes will give him another fresh start next year and wipe the slate clean
I think at this point, my guess is that we might work something out contract wise with him to allow him to pursue footballing opportunities elsewhere.

Hock him in with a transfer deal.

Maybe we could give him to Manny's third party owners as a thank you for messing up our chances of signing him last year:lol:

I'd give him to Preston for a few months. They'd force him to sort his [Poor language removed] out.

I hate myself for it, but I still think we'll see VDM at some point, and shockingly he won't be [Poor language removed]. Much.
