Player Valuation: £35m
Howard 6 - Nothing to do really, couldn't say he was at direct fault for either goal.

Coleman 7 - Settling into the RB slot very well, looks to attack which is great to see. Looking forward to him having more quality infront of him.

Jags 6 - Was solid throughout, would of been a 7 if not for his part in the second goal although he was the one trying to organise and the rest didn't listen!

Distin 6 - Steady performance. Handled Suarez in general and a lot of defenders can't.

Baines 7 - Unlucky with the own goal, tried to get forward but was missing his partner in crime.

Neville 6 - Was solid enough today. Deserves no stick today apart from the god awful embarrassing dive that I still can't believe came from phill Neville (even if it was kinda funny)

Osman 8 - MOM He finally turned up for a derby. Was calm and composed on the ball and its times like that you wonder how he was not one of the top top players in the PL.

Mirallas 8 - Outstanding first half, was so up for this game and was ripping Liverpool to shreds. Our threat clearly dropped when he came off injured at HT.

Fellaini 7 - Looked a bit off pace early on but didn't take long to get in the swing of things. So important to making us tick.

Naismith 6 - Starting to think he'll be no more than an average squad player. Got a goal tho so fair play.

Jelavic 5 - Probably worse Iv seen him for us. Was off his game and even half chances that came his way were wasted. Would of been subbed if we'd had another option I imagine.

Subs: Guaye 5 - shows how we lack any quality squad depth.
Oveido n/a

Moyes 7 - right team selection, personaly would of brought Oveido on at HT instead of Guaye but hey mangers perogative I suppose. Hope he gets some January/summer funds for strengthening the squad were so close to being top notch!

Naismith was worth more than a 6 mate, he had a good game today and that comes from one of his biggest critics. He was positive, always looking to move forward or slip a through ball to Jelavic or an overlapping Coleman. My only criticism would be diving in that led to their first.

Agree about Oviedo, Gueye was worse than poor. He's deceptively slow. Oviedo looked decent in his short spell and his crossing looks pretty good. Coleman would maybe have had an 8 from me.

Howard 1 Postioning for both goals a complete joke, should have put his cap on the 2nd
Coleman 8 Good lad
Baines 8 Baines innitt
Jags 8 Some cracking tackles and blocks again
Distin 7 Distin
Naismith 7 Good goal and worked hard
Neville 7 Not bad, horrible dive tho
Osman 7 Good goal, but again went AWOL in the 2nd half
Mirallas 9 Superb
Fellaini 6 Never got into the game IMO
Jelavic 5 A bit meh

Gueye 2 Christ hes bad

More inclined to Goat's view than Chris's sorry.

Mirallas could have been MOTM for me just for his 45, brilliant performance, 'got' the derby too.

Thought Jags was really good today.

Apart from being a wee bit harsh on Howard, I'd go along with these.

Gueye is horrific.

Howard 5 - Beaten by everything that came at goal. Arguably culpable for the second when he simply fell on his arse when the ball continued on it's trajectory from the Suarez header. Increasing liability in goal, needs competition.

Coleman 6 - Positionally at fault for the first, but came into the game gradually. Not bad.

Jagielka 6 - Very good performance. Can't fault him, decent positional sense and covered for the deteriorating Distin well. However, very lucky to avoid punishment for the foul on Sterling.

Distin 4 - At times looked like he wanted Suarez to net the third late on. Didn't go through him, nearly cost us badly. Looked like Bambi on ice at time, loose passing nearly cost us two or three times. One of his poorest performances in a blue shirt.

Baines 7 - Didn't put a foot wrong, worked well with Mirallas, faded when the awful Gueye was on the left, but came back to life when Oviedo gave him an option. Decent.

Neville 4 - Honestly dreadful. He hid behind players when we had throw ins to avoid responsibility, never requested the ball, gave it away consistently, had one good moment with an interchange with Coleman but that was literally it. Early in the second half he almost cost us the game as he afforded the defence no protection whatsoever and Sterling/Suarez ran riot on the counter. An absolute liability.

Osman 8 - Good from Leon today. He did what needed to be done in the middle, took responsibility and I have no complaints. I'm betting he can't wait until Gibson gets back either as he's being made to look a lot worse than he is alongside Mr. Anonymous.

Mirallas 8 (MOM) - In the first 5 minutes it looked like he was on for a shocker but he then turned in a performance of the highest quality. Suarez identified it and took him out with the most horrific of stamps. We would have won at a canter if he'd stayed on.

Fellaini 6 - He was clearly off the pace, not much stuck to him and he was wayward with his passing on several occasions. But he was still a threat throughout.

Jelavic 4 - His worst game for Everton unfortunately. He couldn't trap anything that came his way.

Naismith 6 - Solid enough, good movement for the goal, fairly anonymous as an attacking threat otherwise.

Subs:

Gueye 1 - He runs like he's in cement and has no right being near the first team. Get rid in January.

Oviedo 6 - For the time he had, he did well, providing an outlet on the left as Liverpool pushed men on. His pace pushed them back.

Moyes 4 - The team went out petrified as per usual, and only came to life once Suarez inspired them and we went 2-0 down. Once he had them back in the dressing room, we came out petrified again and Suarez/Sterling looked like they could have added a few on the counter in the first 15 mins. He's not a big game manager - he sets up not to lose instead of trying to win.

Thought Fellaini was about a 5/6 - he seemed to get lost in his own battle with Joe Allen. He came out on top a lot of the time but fair play to Allen he managed to disrupt Fellaini just enough today.

No offence mate but some of those are rubbish, but opinions eh. Judging someone on what you think they'll play like rather than actually how they played.

What ones?

See the way I've described reasons for my opinion like... it'd be nice if you did the same. :)

Moyes and Neville 4?

LOL

Watch again - he refused to take the ball all game, and the way he jockeyed across when Shelvey ran through our midfield late on? Literally ran past Neville like he weren't there. Joke of a player.

As for Moyes, yet again we started the game anonymously for 25 minutes. Every. Single. Time.
