PL place target for the rest of the season

Where do we need to finish for the season now to be acceptable?

.....yep, seem to recall Matt Jackson scoring against them, perhaps on the way to the ‘95 final but my memory is useless.

...cheers Matey.

10th to 12th
Bit conservative for me mate.

A bare 10th I'd agree on, but only just. We're there right now and with some dodgy teams in front of us, and we have players back soon and players incoming.

We've played over a third of the season without any real strike force worthy of the description and we lie top half. Imagine we have an attack to turn to and the defence is strengthened?

A decent top half finish between 7th-9th would be acceptable...10th just scraping by as an effort.

Bottom half and Allardyce will have failed his own expectations.

I remember listening to this on radio 5 and pacing up and down my room. Was very tense. After the final whistle the commentators recommended putting money on Everton to win.
