It's all a bit underwhelming but, to be fair, we need someone who can win the ball in midfield and not then immediately lose it. If this guy can offer us that then fair dues, I hope we're not paying him Walsh wages.

Hi Guys, Saints fan here in peace (I know they all say that) but just thought I’d give you my honest opinion..... PEH (as he’s known down here) is a good midfielder, as some has said he’s a warrior. Not much flair but gives 100% each week. The guy does however talk a very very good game. Was always thrown to the media after our horrendous start to the season. The reason why I think fans may sound not that fussed is because he made it clear he wanted out... so was dropped and stripped of captaincy. And ironically since then we went on a very good run and JWP and Romeu formed a very good partnership in CM. So my view on it all, good signing for you. Good money for us , so hopefully win win for both clubs... if of course it goes through with Spurs apparently still sniffing... feel free to hate on me if you like
