The press is reporting 4.5Mil!!? Please tell me we are not signing 30yr old Pienaar for that.

Am i the only one who is not overly fussed by Pienaar. Sure I'd take him back but not for 4.5. I'd rather have spent that on a player who could potentially deliver 10 goals a season and we worth more in the future

Look at his record. 28 goals in 247 games played. One goal every 9 games played. Only 2 in 57 for South Africa.

Same applies for Donovan.

So were basically eating Â£2 million? Extremely happy to have Pienaar back but come on. This sell low buy high strategy is just sad. Spurs just made 2 mil off us for having a player sit on their bench.
