With Pienaar though...he moved to Tottenham to play champions league football - then didn't get a game under redknapp so he wanted to move to somewhere else. But Tottenham have a new manager with a completely different style of football - and they are getting rid of Modric, why isn't he trying to prove himself to AVB and then if it doesnt work out push for a January transfer?

because we're everton, he loves us, we are the ex that he left and didn't realise how FAF she was until he'd left and wanted back in as soon as possible - simples.

he didnt want to play for us

You are so, so wrong. Steven Pienaar was a young man who was very badly advised by a [Poor language removed] of an agent who saw a way to make a few bob. He used the Arteta deal to push a wedge between the club and the player, and foolishly the player trusted him. He believed the agent's stories about the club not prizing him highly enough and how they were taking advantage of his love of playing for Everton, and that they (him and his agent) needed to play hard ball. Before he knew it Pienaar was out of the door. And his agent has been trying to find a way back for him ever since, because he knows that if he doesn't, Steven will drop him like a stone.

Footballers are just kids who have a natural ability to kick a ball well. They have no aptitude at making multi-million pound deals, so they have to trust advisers. Pienaar's have shafted him and the club.

This tweet from Sky Bet '@johnappley Sorry, the transfer for Pienaar already looks a done deal so we won't be putting the market up on site. Cheers'.

Apologies if that's already been posted!
