Pienaar

Just posted bit of information in baines thread...was told at same time that kenwright is meeting with spurs counterpart, believe this weekend ,to try and push a deal through in light of Avb arrival. cheers

Anyone else getting more and more sceptical that this will happen?

If we sell anyone for a reasonable fee (an Anichebe or Heitinga) then I think this deal may have a decent chance of going through. But unless someone goes, I just can't see anything happening. Until then, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Now that spuds have signed Siggy-whatever, even more midfielders there for Peanut to compete with for a spot - increases our chances?

if we do have to pay 6 mill for him, whilst we can get hoilett for about 3/4 mill (tribunal) then i'd prefer hoilett, guessing he'll go to a team like spurs instead though sadly. He'd have more chance as a 1st teamer here.

would be boss to see davjiel pranjlett on the left

If Tottenham want £6M for Pienaar then he won't come back. Even if we did have £6M, I think DM would be reluctant to spend £6M on a 30 year old.

I love Pienaar, but I wouldn't spend £6m on a 30 year old.

If we have £6m to spend, we can get someone in much younger and with comparable ability.

would not blame him, no matter how important pienaar is to us. Especially considering the quality free transfers that are going around atm as well. Sadly he seems to be such a priority that we may end up paying that much for him which would be wrong IMO

Bale just signed 4 year deal, cant see him leaving and fox or someone said it would be 4 million or less for pienaar sometime in the last month or whatever if he stays with us.
