Anyone know if this guy is genuinely ITK? I won't believe fee's until Fox or LCAB state them... but if it is £3.5mil, then surely we'll cough it up FFS.

Would there be much in commercial benefit from Donovan and Dempsey that could offset the 10M it would roughly cost getting them here??

i would have thought having the 3 most recognisable american footballers MUST have commercial value, but its a difficult market too predict, especially as 'soccer' is still a minority sport, maybe some of the americans on here would know??

Its easy to see how much it has grown in the US. You see kids playing soccer all the time now, lots of small towns have built soccer fields, and nice ones at that. Over the last 5-7 years I think it has blown up a lot and its going to continue to get bigger and bigger.

Setting up an EvertonUSA store to buy shirts would help, considering you can't get quality Everton stuff here to save your life. The cost of setting that up and finding a US distributor would be more than offset and put some money into the club, although how much is a mystery. We'd certainly capture a larger share of a rapidly growing market.

Calling me a liar lad!! But the research i've done ( aka looking in the papers) stated this.

To put it into perspective Sunderland lost 1.6 mill on the final day due to their loss. The base money is 800k going up by 800k but that doesn't factor in any additional bonus eg TV money.
