I feel it would make such financial sence as our exposure to the USA would be huge . Remember when we played Fulham and Fox moved heaven and earth to show that match

The thing with Barkley is that he has absolutely huge potential. If we treat him right then he could be a star in our team for years to come.

Unfortunately we won't and he'll end up playing for a top side while we languish in mid table.
 
Don't want to sell Barkley unless we got £20m for him or it'd fund transfers that keep Felli at the club. Rodwell is a must sell. But that wouldn't yield the funds for D/D/P. Selling Jagielka may be the way forward in this case. Still, we'll need another CB if we do that and we still have to give the banks their share. Gutted, as it'd have us right in the mix of the top 4-6 but it's not really financially possible. #kenwrongoutffs

Hope everyone's right about Barkley but I haven't seen anything special from him yet.
I think his youth goes against him as many young 'future stars' fail to live up to expectations.

You ask anybody on here who has seen him train on a regular basis, he's a one off. Rodwell isn't even in the same league as him and he's three years older.

WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF RODWELL MATE HEARS HE ON HIS WAY MET HIM IN THE TRAFFORD CENTRE LAST WEEK MATE HE HAD TWO CITY BROCHURES IN HIS HAND CANT BELIEVE ITS A JOKE REALLY PITY THE LAD WANTS TO STAY I KNOW OFF SOME MATES AT THE CLUB BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY CAHILLS FORM IS UNACCEPTABLE REALLY.

as much as id like to keep rodwell he,s prob our most valuable asset in terms of age and what we,d get for him so if it meant getting peanut and keeping felli baines and jags id reluctanly let rodwell go!
