i know, couple of the old mans mates played back in the day...used to go and watch as a kid with my dad, good sides and even better swiggers!!

Its a shame most of the pubs have gone now, I used to drink in the quite man which is now an old peoples home haha

He's just put on twitter something like,

'Wanna thank all the Everton fans. Yesterday was a sad day for me'

I would copy and paste but I've just closed twitter by accident and I CBA FFS.

Steven Pienaarâ€￾@therealstevenpi

Wana thank all the Everton supporters for making me feel at home was a very sad day for me yesterday

He is class, and for £5 million, that's a steal !

It is but people won accept this because they know we havent got 5m to spend.

2m and a drop in wages to come back here, and oh yeah redknapp just lets him go for that amount aswell, putting it that way makes it sound more realistic and puts people in a good mood.

off course we want to sign him and he wants to stay. I'd say it's a definite goer...coyb

just one thing you missed there we dont own him.
redknapp will be looking for ever penny he can get if he really wants to buy adebayor.

Don't worry lads we can pay for him with the 11.2 mill we get for finishing 7th. The rest can go to the bank naturally. Who's the next target then?

Its a fair price tho.
If we were in there boat we would want the same.

If moyes is going to get this done he needs to do it now, whose stopping newcastle to offer them 6m and pienaar his 70k a week.

Mike Ashley would stop that! Pienaar gets £70k and there will be a entire squad demanding parity seeing as there were the ones who got them to 5th.

It'll probably depend on whether they qualify for the Champions League. If they do they may as well keep him, even if it's just for league cup games and the like

doubt it, fellaini gets 70k a week here and I dont see everyone else saying I want 70k a week.
and most of the newcastle players on are big wages, isnt demba ba on 80k a week.

Newcastle have the option of having many key players that they could sell for big money the likes of cabaye tiote cisse ba they can sell one of them for big money and still be OK.
