I'd love to have him back, but don't break the bank for pienaar if it means we can't keep baines. Baines and pienaar together is far far far more valuable than each individually.

Pienaar is the most important signing David Moyes will ever make, if we can get him long term this summer. Don't care what anybody says, everything about him is brilliant, I ****ing love him, and he is the heart of our good football.
An absolute must

Agreed

30 and only went for 2m

Spurs will want him off there wage bill as I bet hes on a fair wack

I hope you're popcorning. He's completely changed the way we played this season and the reason he went for 3mil was because his contract was expiring 6 months later.

Let's sign a player we know works in our team. And where's all this Spurs want to unload him info coming from? Sh*t they held on to Kranjcar for years and didn't play him much, supposedly he was leaving every year. They need a large squad for the Champion's League so they could easily just use him for 12 games a season like Kranjcar.

Pienaar's worth 5mil to me. And don't compare the price to Jelavic, that was a unique deal, compare the price to someone like Charlie Adam, who cost 9m and is badly Adam....or even Arteta who was as old as he is and went for 10m, which people still think is a low price.

Praise the Lord! As the man himself would say. Probably. Now if we can hold on to Baines and Fellani, we should be challenging for top 4 next season.
