there was always a possibility a new manager would give even fringe players a chance of proving themselves. that guy who came on said pienaar was a done deal and them everyone beleived him how could he have knows what the new manager had install for pienaar absolutely absurd comment to make, and even more stupid was how many sheep believed him.

Absolutely spot on mate. Just goes to prove that most itk's are just making educated guesses.
Like that bull**** about Rooney DEFINITELY letting his contract run down & coming back on a free HAHAHAHAAA & everybody takes it a gospel truth that it will happen, not even Rooney himself knows what will happen in a couple of years.
As you say mate... SHEEP!
I am grateful for whatever knowledge people can pass on here but it becomes a bit sickophantic to say the least.

I think it's tough though I was posting on kipper that I'd heard from someone I knew that it wa far from done but many others heard it was , the only difference was my 'source' had heard that from spurs rather than Everton who I'm sure were 'confident' it'd happen . Info in football is tough because it's forever changing both I & LCAB had heard exactly the same that Martinez was a shoe in (paraphrasing) for the lpool job but it didn't happen but that wasn't coz anyone was lying. If that makes sense ?

Edited- obviously stupidly typed Wigan not lpool which I meant

To be fair pienaar If we don't make a bid never mind come close to meeting Spurs asking price it's tough for him to facilitate a move . Both those running the club & the player did well to push a loan deal through in January & something may happen but at the minute their isn't much the player can do .

Sorry mate that was in jest. It's a stupid ongoing joke.

Spurs are a hard club to deal with, but I am confident that we will push through a deal before the window shuts. I just think it could be one that is dragged out for ages.

When you have a past record of getting things SPOT ON u take those people for what they say, especially when they keep saying things SPOT ON.

No1 has ever said Rooney will let his contract run down, they said they can see him back here one day, don't know where you got that from.

Yes they did!

Find me the direct quotes, coz I seem to remember Fox saying he could see him back in blue shirt, it was everyone else that speculated on him running the contract down.

If you can find me the direct quotes from Fox or LCAB that he's letting his contract at United run down and coming here on a free i'll put my hands up but I don't think you will.

I'm not even going to try to find them but someone was saying he'd been talking to Rooneys relatives & they said he was running his contract down so he could return.
Now I'm certainly not saying out itk's are lying, just that hearsay & pub talk are a long way from being facts. Still nothing wrong with relaying it here, it's just the true believers we have here, insisting that every word from the itk's MUST be true no matter what, that's what makes me laugh more than anything.
That being said they often come up with the goods & I'm grateful for that.

I'm pretty sure that the ITK's said that he would be back at Everton before he calls times on his career. Whether it be when he's 30, 33 or 35 we don't know. The ITK's are almost certain that he will be back at some point.

He happens to have a contract that expires when he's around 30 so a few people on here put 2 and 2 together and came up with the idea that Rooney would run down his contract and come back for free, partly in jest, partly in blind optimism.

I highly doubt the ITK's would make such a wild prediction such as that. They may have hinted at it but no more than that.
