He certainly had somehting to prove after 'arry benched him , when he came back here in January - hopefully he doesn't feel like this deal is his swansong and he just has to collect the cash. what a different player he is from the guy who was drowning in Dortmund a few years ago.....

Ive yet to see Pienaar ever give anything less than 100% in EVERY single game hes played for Everton.

I see no reason why that would change.

Absolutely. He can be (and has been) accused of many things but I can't see how anyone could fault him for effort.

Yeah, I went back a little further and read things more closely and i see now it's happening. Great news.

I also saw where LD is now the priority - good news. Hope that happens as well.

Either way, here's to hoping we start off strong this year.

He's always given a lot of effort but there was a burning fire in him on his loan spell. He just seemed more motivated and aggressive than he did in those last few months before the Tottenham move.
