Where is this 2 million figure coming from?

Sunday Express are reporting that figure today, take it or leave it... It's a newspaper so no more or less likely than 4.5m. I read in this thread that fox and LCAB have both said we won't be paying as much as most are thinking, so 2m has a shred of credibility.

Someone asked LCAB just now, said more than 2m... Doesn't really matter and we shouldn't get hung up on the numbers, they're largely irrelevant, clubs rarely pay out the full amount up front anyway. Safe to say we'll be as tight as possible and probably won't publish the final amount.

The only bad thing about this is that he will be gone in January for African Cup of Nations..

So we better get our form together before then for once

Donovan will be playing for us then so not too bad.

Great piece of business getting him back. Regardless of age, price, wages whatever the fact is simple: we play some ace football when he's in the team. Everton should be enjoyable to watch in some games this year.

I can't believe people believe this.

Spurs are competent and we're anything but.

Spurs got around £18m for crouch & palacios (£18m!!) , have shown they wouldn't be bullied over modric, £30m for berbatov & about £3m for Alan Hutton but despite that people believe we've 'had them off ' over Pienaar . Anything is possible but the weight of evidence would suggest otherwise to me

I almost hope it isn't £2m as if it's taken us that long to work out a payment plan for such a small amount of money then we really are in the ****.

These are the same bulbs that get excited because some 14 year old on twitter reckons we're in for Adam Johnson.

I think that above all is what makes Evertonians special. We get out hopes crushed on a regular basis but we still always manage to dream.

£2m spent, Pienaar and Naismith in. Absolutely brilliant business.

Thanks BILL, clearly doesn't get credit sometimes, imagine if we had the Venkey's clowns in charge.

Except that it wasn't £2m

Pienaar has signed for us. Is right. Let's be happy like and swerve looking for hidden reasons as to why it's sh*te or whatever.

We're not in a superb place as a club really so when good things happen enjoy them. Let's swerve the anxiety and paranoia obsession as it's the sabbath and the little braided ace playmaking Jesus worshipper is going to do boss things in a blue shirt next season.

I'm not going to be negative because like everyone I'm delighted but :

This isn't a personal criticism mate but if anyone can look at our dealings in the market over the last couple of years as positive I'm astounded and if anything maybe that's what wrong with us as a club . I think the board did really well in pulling off the Pienaar loan last window & credit where it's due for putting this deal together but 'doesn't get the credit' over the fact we've shipped out Cahill, billy, yak,Beckford, Arteta , Pienaar & Vaughan . moyes has bought well with Jelavic & Gibson but I'm not sure where bills credit really comes from.

Yeah, that's the good side of that, even if we have to have that French/Senegalese/whatever tw*t on the wing for a month.

We need him. It's simple.
