Jagielka
Lescott
Yobo
Senderos

Looks good to me if the deal gets sorted, certainly enough cover there. I hope it's a loan though.

I see what Moyes is doing

Taken from Wiki

In an interview with The Observer, he said, amongst other things, that he speaks six languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese) and that, if his football career were to end tomorrow, he would go into a career in communications: "I'd learn another language, something that not many people speak, like Russian or Greek".

With Valente gone, he wants someone to help a certain Joao Moutinho bed in and adapt to he country

Clever

If there is one thing David Moyes knows it's his centrebacks. Senderos will be a big player for them, maybe even better than Lescott. Sadly he just isn't right for us, with our system being what it is, and the fact that we're a massive club, the pressure is just too much for him. Everton will suit him nicely
I think Lescott is a good player, but even he makes mistakes. He benefits immensely from being part of a well organised defence. I couldn't see him and Kolo becoming a watertight central defence. They're likely to get just as confused as each other running City's back line.

Senderos , however, at a team like Everton where he'd be well drilled, organised and in a defence oriented team, I could see him doing well.
some interesting comments from their fans perspectives. Not sure about Senderos myself as he's never particularly impressed me but in Moyes we trust and some of them seem to think he'll do well

Im hoping that this one gets sorted soon, we really need cover in central defence, and I think he will be great for us.

I just want us to start signing some players, why do our negotiations seem to take so long??! :@

I tend to agree, Arsenal play pretty much attack-minded throughout the team - They play a very high line, encouraging their centrebacks as far up the pitch as often as they can...

Senderos isn't gifted with massive pace needed to get back and clearly isn't much use going forward either, so really doesn't work for them.

By all accounts, he was much better in Milan (and for Switzerland) where he could just sit back and soak up attacks, similar to how Moyes likes to set out our centrebacks - even Lescott hardly gets near the halfway line when he's not playing on the left, hence his fewer goals last season than previously.

He'll fit our system and should prove a very good addition.

Sorry to be pedantic but Arsenal a " massive club "
Granted Arsenal are a big club with great tradition but in no way are they a massive global brand ala Manchester United or Liverpool , they just arent on that level .

Its starting to sit right with me us getting Senderos . I think he may shine at Everton given the right guidance .

Unfortunately they are a massive global brand, all of the Sky 4 are advertised throughout the world on a whole different level to the rest of the league

far to many think ut a done deal this is everton fc dont forget ill belive it when hes got the obligatory scarf over his head

I just spent some time in Kenya & Tanzania: the number of people wearing Arsenal tops was remarkable (largely knock off ones though!)

Nearly every street is lined with small businesses and a large proportion of them are called things like 'Real Madrid Tyre co' or 'Liverpool cafe',

Theres even a street in Zanzibar called Liverpool score street where someone has painted a scorebord on the wall where they update the latest Liverpool scores.

Its just ridiculous.

That makes me sad :(
