Because they had us under the cosh and our CBs had more work to do.

I'm just happy he didn't suffer an injury on the eve, hopefully, of joining his hoofball mentor Moyes at Sunderland.
He was fine today and very vocal, my first visit to Goodison in the league for 18 months, he was constantly communicating and if we don't get another CB it will almost certainly be Jagielka/Williams when playing 4 at the back, get used to it mate.

No Dave, but not going to argue with you as neither of us will change our minds on his value.

I'll just laugh each time he does something boss and think of you x

Jags won't be going to S'land in this transfer window David. Vault me if I'm wrong.

You'll have to put up with him being boss for at least another season I'm afraid.

Then you better get used to the ball getting smacked upfield every time he has it. That was only kept in check. Under Martinez. If Koeman wants that way of "building from the back" he's not the manager I thought he was.

But rest assured: as soon as Kone comes in, Mr hoofball will be going out the backdoor

Why is Koeman intent on another CB then?

If Kone or other comes in, who gets the two starting places?

Very harsh Dave - he was outstanding today, your view would hold more value if you could also recognise the positives he brings.

hi mate,

I thought you would have honored our bet and ban yourself from this forum if Martinez get sack.

Tbh would swap him for Kone if had too

But think we'll bring Kone in and have him, Willian's, mori and jags as the 4 senior cbs with holgate as the wildcard
