There's not been an English central defender over the last 20 years who'd readily sacrifice his position for the good of the team like Jags has, class act as a defender and a real leader on and off the pitch.

It's his terrific on-field leadership that sets him apart, I think most would agree.

Jags to us is what Kompany is to City. He's an absolute warrior. Massive love for the bloke, I only hope we can win something for him. He deserves it.

Right but you've avoided my point.
How can he be criticised for being on "walkabout" when as a team we quite clearly man to man mark on corners, and his man didn't score or even make contact with the ball?

This isn't the strongest point you've ever made mate, just to warn you...
