The tackle on Welbeck just outside the box was world class, had to be timed to perfection and he just managed to nick the ball under Welbeck's foot. Can understand why people could think it was a foul but it was just brilliant centre back play.

He was brilliant last night, the tackles, the clearance off the line. Was as if he was on a one man mission to stop Man U at all costs.
