Had a budgie when a kid . Me Ma were'nt having dog-hairs around the gaff . Though I do like dogs , my neighbourhood requires either Pitbull / Sabre-Toothed-Tiger , etc , or no dog at all .

Thread bump, so i don't have to start a new one... yay searchbar!
This is my new alsatian (pure breed), bought him when he was 45 days old, now he's 3 months and 5 days old.
His name is Adolph (name meaning : "noble majestic wolf", not named after Hitler, you melts
... i get that a lot, wonder why :huh: ... or maybe i'm some kind of a closet nazi, i'm not sure), or for short - Addy. I love him to bits.
Back when he was about 45 days old with the girl that found from where to buy him (love them both ) :

The dog at the back is a friend of mine's Jack Russell terrier that looks exactly like Milo from The Mask, except this dog's tail has been cut off, cause the dog's usually used for hunting of small animals.
he likes to sleep, often like this, or close to me. He thinks of me as a father-figure, i guess... listens only to me, follows only me, etc (guess he accepts the girl - see first picture - as a mother, as he does the same with her)... very disciplined dog from day 1 to be honest. Amazing how fast he learns.
*Side info - yes, that's me and yes, i do wear an iron cross around my neck.

Awwhhhh...sweeet.
Had to have my dog put down the other day, bless him. But I guess that now means I can get a puppy.

Oh, too bad man... I will probably get depressed or something if one of mine get put down (i also have a cross-breed normal + german pinscher, quite big that).
