anyone remember the cup game at Wimbledon when reidy had had a dip?kinell I thought we'd signed Tony Curtis!!!
Aye he went right over to the corner of the Park End and Bullens and spend an age with the trophy. I assumed he knew someone there.
Gah.Thats what inspired my username mate, I remember him coming out and all the players were pointing as if he'd done it in the changies after they'd all left to warm up, arl fella was watching on telly and said the same as well. Like when you work in factory theres always a fella who dye's it at work in the lavs on the sly so his Mrs doesn't know.

We tried to get him the season before he signed for £600,000 if memory serves. Due to injuries the deal broke down and we got him for only £60,000 the next year. Top player. Him and Bracewell were awesome together, never gave up, always chased and pressured the opposition.Imagine if he had came to us in the early stages of his career.
What was he doing there ?Met him today at warrington towns game, sound fella.
Ya not an Evertonian if ya don't love Peter Reid.
Managing Mumbai City now in the Indian Super League. Came 7th, out of 8. I wonder if he is just there for the dancing ?Now we're talking about PROPER legends in this thread.
He was the heartbeat of the 80s title winning teams - fact. One of the things about championship winning teams is that they never know when they are beaten. This man was more often than not the inspiration behind the comebacks. We would not have won those trophies without him.
I always thought he would end up as Everton manager one day. This was because you used to see him talking to the players in the warm-ups, coaching and going through various exercises with the ball. Sadly it was not to be. It would have been interesting though.
He was practically taking the pi$$ on TV last week at h/t during the YB game after the RS had been knocked out. Couldn't get the grin off his face with Fowler beside him and all. Hilarious stuff.
Yep, proper Everton legend.
respected him even more when he wouldn't get on that bus going around the city with the shower in 1986,he got a fine, the club reckoned he'd "disrespected"our fans, but all proper blues knew totally where he was coming from.Thats what inspired my username mate, I remember him coming out and all the players were pointing as if he'd done it in the changies after they'd all left to warm up, arl fella was watching on telly and said the same as well.
