It's his passion ; I was undecided as to whether to put the thread in the Ale House.
Nah, legend mate, deserves more than an 'ale house' thread.

Great player for us, that tale he talks about his uncle Arthur at the Derby is just Reidy all over.
One of the best documentaries I've seen was about Mardonna and he's describing his great goal , that great against England in Mexico. He can't remember any other players names but says "and Reid kept chasing me". Just seems that he gets on with all former players and they seem to love him, great ambassador for the club. The only surprising thing is he's not got an official role with the club, which I'd love to see.
He was probably one of the greatest players in the World for a short period, 85-86
Imagine if he had came to us in the early stages of his career.
Often over-looked but how important was Kendall to getting Reid fulfill his potential?
Try telling me we are not descendants from the apes looking at that pic..Remember seeing that he was training at Wigan due to being written off by Bolton.
60 grand we gave them in 82 for him & within a couple of years he was Footballer of the year & finishing behind Maradona Platini & Elkjaer for WORLD player of the year.
Legend used a bit too liberally these days but not in his case.
here's an early pic of him from Bolton...
"errr, listen mate I spotted a bit of grey this mornin' any chance you can touch it up a bit in the studio"
"No problem lad, state of the art my place I'll easy get rid of that for ya"
