PES 2014 - Is anyone still arsed?

Is anyone else arsed about this game or is it just me?

Been a fan since the beginning and it's only now i'm starting to get depressed about the lack of licences - probably jealousy from seeing a sparkling Goodison on Fifa. Apparently this year the games taken a licence battering.

It's a shame really cos the industry needs a competitive PES to keep Fifa on its toes.
 

Nah it'll be decent mate.

Last year was the first year ever I ended up with both.

A mate told me they aren't bringing it out on the next gen ones. Is that true?

Yeah, the transition from the xbox/PS2 to the 360/PS3 was hurried and ended up being badly gash so they've sweved it this time to give them an extra year to get it right.

Demo's out tomorrow so that'll give us an idea if it's any good.
 
i long for the days when you used to get loads of different football games coming out, yes they were mainly sh1t but it was interesting to see how different companies approached it
 
Its sad FIFA has taken over.

PES was always the best game. I still haven't played a better football game that PES 5
 

PES should be more popular, the football is technically superior to FIFA but the lack of Licenses kill it. When you score an amazing goal in PES it's so much more satisfying than the hit n hope of FIFA.
 
Without PES fifa would be nowhere near as good, they were the groundbreaker, much like without Blackberry the iphone or Samsung wouldn't be as good, unfortunately the larger companies have the capability to catch up and swallow the opposition

Fair play to the people who create these. Must take beards(stealing got lingo) to sort out.

The licensing beef has led to the removal of all the Spanish stadiums and even the stadium editor this year. I can live with that myself but, it's the constant chipping away at the games content that drives away players imo.

I'm looking forward to sampling the new game engine tomorrow. Sounds like quite an overhaul.

Aye last PES was very good so the new one could go either way if they've made all the changes they were planning to.

Goodison being in FIFA makes me want to buy that like.
