Pennant

If we can keep his wages down, he'd be an excellent signing. On his day, Pennant is actually very good, and better at crossing a ball than anyone at Everton. In the past he was a bit of an idiot. But his record at Liverpool has actually been very good. If he's matured, then then there is no reason to hold his past against him. Pennant isn't another Bellamy or Barton.

a very sensible post(y)

Wouldn't mind Pennant at Everton. Think he's a much better option than Hunt and a more realistic one than Reyes. Also get Naughton, M'Bia and Defour in, plus Jo on a season long loan and we're sorted.(y)

Another one available on a free is Lucas Neill, Tiny's best mate. Never my favourite but if was playin for rather than against us then I might think differently.

Na He's to incosistent for me and didn't really set the world alight at Pompey last season while on loan. Think Moyes can get better players in than him

He's a good player when focussed. He was Liverpool's best player in their Champions League final defeat against Milan in 2007. He is a total ******* nob head like.

Definitely on a free, there have been many who have speaking about this deal done and dusted for weeks. I think this mornings articles are testing the waters of reaction and preparing Merseyside for the news. Moyes has always been a fan and i think he tried to pinch him before when he was at Brum.

On a free its a ridiculous deal for us not to look at. As Dave said he was their best player against AC in the CL final. The lad has talent and to be fair to him the only real time hes got a chance to play regular first team football in his whole career was at Brum and he was the star of the show there. Lets not kid ourselves the lad has the talent to be in England Squads and CL finals. I watched him a fair bit for Pompey last season and i actually thought he did very well in a number of games. He struggled about two months in with injuries and his creative licence was hampered a bit by Harts tactics of spoiling tactics to stay in the Prem but his talent was there to be seen. On his attitude he has kept his nose clean for a couple of years now and seems more focussedon his career, amazingly hes still only 26 he seems like hes been around for enternity. Anyway i think we make to much of players perceived media personalities, we want to play footaball for us not run the clubs creche. The squad at Everton simply wont allow any messing about.

Adding him to the squad will free Arteta to move into the centre in the long term and add pace and trickery outwide something that has been glaringly obvious we have missed all season.

So in conclusion we would be absolutley chicken oriental not to sign a 26 year old, English international champions leauge winning right winger on a free. Fantastic bit of buissness.

THIS.

Show me 1 game in which this little piece of utter scum has ever played well. I would never support such a person such as this bottom feeding lowlife.

And hes really just not very good. He went missing for the entire season at Pompey. Its not like he was pinging crosses in for Crouch every week. If he cant hit Crouch with a cross, he wont hit The Yak.

If he signs, im off to support Tranmere, ST will go back.
