That's not the story here. Tyrrell's position was utterly untenable after the dossier was leaked, followed by his handling of the badge fiasco. It has very little to do with the Collymore thing. That came and went inside a day or two.

Tyrrell has upset many fans over the past 12-18 months with his antics. He's no 'good guy that went against Kenwright and was silenced'. He's a Kopite who showed contempt for the EFC fans.

This is a very good thing that he's gone. I just hope that after Ross and now Tyrrell, they get someone in who is a ) an Evertonian, and b ) someone who doesn't treat the fans like they're the enemy.

Not at all. Tyrrell was an utter gob***** of the highest order.

Case in point - the badge redesign. Tyrrell drove that idea. When it leaked, myself and others constantly tried to contact Tyrrell for answers, but he completely ignored us and would not respond. We could have avoided the fiasco, but he didn't want to know.

He belittled fans constantly, he called PED who runs the Followtonians site and podcast and does more for Everton than most fans, 'a disloyal bad Evertonian who does nothing but moan' which was an appalling thing to say to any EFC fan, let alone someone who works hard at a hobby to help other Evertonians.
