He's up for Stoke Central which is where I live. Tristram Hunt has resigned as lab MP to go and run the V&A in London. UKIP came second (5K majority I think) in the general election, so they're focusing their efforts on trying to win this seat. I would imagine they'll push the same a agenda they used in the referendum , convincing the working class that a bunch of uber tories are on their side and the answer to all their problems is to remove any outsiders. Trouble is I think people are disillusioned with the current political system and may well boost UKIP. Also worrying I've seen some particularly unsavoury right wing groups (Albion First) pushing leaflets through people's doors.

People are looking for change, unfortunately, the change options, when you look at them are far worse than what we have already
