Can't believe the abuse this guy's coming in for. He was the first English astronaut for god's sake, selected after a sterling career in the SAS. Sadly, looking at some of the posts from my fellow locals, they're very Angry at everything, as you would expect from an area thats been in general decline for years. Unfortunately they're aiming their anger at the long standing labour presence in Stoke and for some reason, seem to see UKIP as the answer. Worse still Nutall's supposed residence in the city is about 3 streets away from me , so I expect my house price to plummet.

The only upside is, there are quite a few xenophobic loons running for the position , BNP, Christian People Alliance (the what now) and Some Independant woman who's policies include Making the Queen head of the government and repatriating all immigrants, this sounds bad but could split the loony vote
