Paris St-Germain Pancrate in frame as Moyes seeks strikers at Goodison | Mail Online

Paris St-Germain striker Fabrice Pancrate has emerged as a target for David Moyes as the Everton manager tries to keep the club's European ambitions alive.
Moyes, whose team entertain Aston Villa today, watched the striker in the UEFA Cup tie against Manchester City on Wednesday.

Pancrate, 28, who nearly joined Hull in the summer, could be available in January on loan or for a cut-price fee of £1million because he is out of contract at the end of the season.
Moyes is also an admirer of City striker Jo, but although Eastlands boss Mark Hughes may let the Brazilian go out on loan, it is unlikely to be to a Premier League rival.
Everton currently have only Victor Anichebe fully fit, with Yakubu, James Vaughan and Louis Saha all injured.

He plays predominantly as an attacker, but has also been used as a midfielder, both right wing and on the position between the attack and the midfield.

To be fair he sounds less of an out and out striker and more of an attacking winger. His score rate is still dreadful though.

I live in Paris and he's old and [Poor language removed] - think a fatter Ade Adebolah

Just checked with my boss too and he laughed. "Too left feet, fat and a 2nd Division player" were his exact words!

So an upgrade on what we currently have, which is a striker who's knackered well before half time let alone the 90 minute mark.

And a handful of injured ones too.
