Pardew bets an EFC fan a Mars bar that Newcastle will finish higher than us in 13/14

and so they should. they're going to be in freefall next season - more to do with the chairman than manager i must add and he'll eventually have to sack him because of on-field results.

ashley gave him a long contract because he thought he was a wonderman, it's since been proved that it was a one-off. i'd sack him if i were in his shoes, no seconds thought. pretend to give newcastle a better image as well

They have won one less league game than us this year and he had to sell his best player in January and not replace him. I think Pardew is a melt but he's actually a decent manager

Pardew seems to use Everton as a yardstick against which his team's performance/table position should be measured. Without wishing to disrespect us, such yardstick does not seem overly imbued of ambition. Is it some 'best of the rest' mini league? Whatever, I don't think RM buys into it.

Does to me as well mate, over to you Ashley

Ashley's got him as his buffer, he's never going to get rid. If he did there'd be cries for another crowd favourite in Keegan or Shearer mould, someone who would take the fans side over the boards. He's never hoping to do that while he wants to stick around. Pardew isn't just there as a football manager he's Ashley's shield.

But it also gives Ashley the chance to get him get him out of the 8 yr contract

Gets sacked in the summer, moyes takes over as a specialist chairman shield

Tbh the best thing for us would be for Pardew to remain because whilst he's there I can't see them being much of a threat.

Moyes, despite the catastrophe that he's been at United has shown what he can do on a limited budget. If Newcastle got someone like him in they'd probably end up causing us a few more headaches.

Hope the lad goes back for his Mars bar. They're 17 behind with 15 to play for.

Not that it was ever in doubt.

Will always say newcastle a a fantastic prospect of a team even with Mike Ashley.

They arent going to go anywhere though with an average manager and a owner i'd rather have Kenwright over.
