Part of me thinks this would be a vanity signing. You don't win anything with kids. We have a champion and proven winner in Delph already. If we were talking 10-15mil yeah sure worth a punt. But if we're spending 30mil I want another experienced head not some kid.

That Romano guy, people who work for The Athletic, Joyce, King (he might be at the Athletic now?), a few other reasonable Everton writers whose names escape me and basically other writers who are actually plugged into specific clubs.

Papers largely stink.
