Quite simply, marvellous.

From 84-88 I adored them. I managed to fill the 84-85 one too, one for the CV that.

A ten pence bundle of surprise. Those Scottish stickers were mad though, the two on one page and for some reason I had Danny McGrains beard in about four packets in a row.

This post was going somewhere.

had some football top trumps in about 80. a domestic and a european, the european contained antonio antonioni.....always made me laugh till i met a swedish guy called sven svensson, his dad was sven and his grandad too so he was actually sven svensson svensson svennson. the older cards with the hard chewy in were better and you played wallie with them.

i had loads of danny mcgrain and his beard. how odd.

i also experienced my first feeling of a rip off when i bought a packet with my hard earnt pocketmoney and got two eric gates in the same pack!!

the QPR badge in the 85/86 was also annoyingly common.

god.. i loved those stickers! for the record i completed the 85/86.
garbage pail kids get a special mention for being cool because the girls collected them aswell.

Loved them - 84-87 was my time.

Completed the 84-85 one with Mark Falco, and World Cup '86. Loved the mascot in that.

Oh, and away from football, it was all about transformer stickers.

Apart from that Arsenal keeper Lukic or someone. He was tops. I remember thinking he's 6'4, and Nevs better than him. I couldnt believe it.

I loved the Panini stickers they were mint but not as good as the Esso coins for the 1990 world cup- they were the bollocks.

for one reason or another, i managed to collect two full sets of them in the collectors folder thing that held the individual coins.

england and scots squads.

Got my Euro 2012 sticker book today. Swapsies anyone? 2 for a shiny of course.

I got the World Cup 2010 one as well and spent a bit more than a grown man should on stickers. Lost interest after we got knocked out though ffs.

Isn't that 1 that is free in the book ? A rip that they then put it in the packs as you can't even swap it, just use it to scare cats out of the flower beds.

The biggest shoeing I ever got off my older brother was panini related. He had just completed his beloved Southampton's page (this is when they were boss early 80s) so in retaliation for himflushing my r2d2 i drew c*cks in all their mouths.
