Paint the Stadium Blue

why don't we rip the seats off, turn goody park into an all standing stadium and using masking tape to tape all the seats onto the grey bits. has to be done properly though, have to make sure it still spells out everton.

and chairs must NOT be used like wwf weapons to smack people over the head with

I orignally meant just the outside. The grey panelling makes it look like a factory.

But a lot of people prefer to just sit there on their fantasy high horse saying things like "when will everton fans open their eyes to this regime..." Blah blah blah.

The online fury over the badge surprised me somewhat in that that-many Evertonians actually bothered to click or press something to join a petition etc.

Let's do Blue Paint for our grey factory eyesore..

In my opinion the greyness of Goodison gives it depth, personality and character and shows it's historical routes, it aint a plastic ground like the King Power etc.

Fair enough mate. What about a pressure wash???

The dirt and rust can't be that vital. That's like saying the gladdy's bogs should always stink of piss.

Bill's more likely to burn the stadium down to fiddle the insurance than to paint it.

.....whatever happened to the blue cushions? Perhaps they're in a huge storeroom somewhere and they could be pasted to the walls to save money on paint.

Painting the entire stadium blue would make it look like one of those plastic Monopoly hotels,

The main stand does need a lick of paint though, I miss the old blue roof :(

Said it for years MUGZ. it looks tired and it doesn't need to.

I'd like it, but I think it should have something to make it stand out from an aerial view

say like the main stand with it's big blue roof for instance, paint the whole stadium blue, then give the whole main stand roof a big fk off blue/white or blue/yellow block stripe colourway

so when you have these "name the stadium" quiz things, fans from abroad or whatever would go, "oh yeah big stripey roof, that's Everton" and it makes them aware of you, it's only a little thing like, but if the club wants to raise awareness of the brand, then this is one little way of doing it

I agree that in hindsight an entire blue stadium may be too much. But when I look at that picture of Goodison, the gladdys roof looks like its being held together with brown masking tape. I know we don't look at the roof much but even the sides of the stands look like they've got cardboard in the windows.

Why hasn't Goodison got hoardings around the Bullens and Gwladys street stands on the outside adorned with famous players, instead of corregated panelling ffs. Our players train at Finch Farm which looks plush and state of the art blah blah, then every Saturday they go to this old stadium with old dressing rooms and play in front of 35-40k people...? We pay some of them £50k+ a week, I bet they think its bizarre. Rant over.

I'm cleaning our seats at 1st home game, mingin they are and got a white residue on them making them dull like an arl blue corsa.
Thats caused by washing up liquid btw on blue and red cars, a good t-cut and back to new.

Our 3 seats shall stand out in any pics of an empty Goodison.
