Agreed, we are lacking pace. I'm hoping we bring in a pacey right winger - it would add an extra dimension to our attack.

I notice by viewing his profile that he was not offered the welcome message from yourself that other members seem to have received, perhaps this is something for your governance team to have a look at?

I really hope we can get Donovan back. It will most likely be in January though.

Donovan would fit the bill. It's not going to happen though.Just one thought - He started well , had an immediate impact, but he did tail off slightly as teams got used to him. Would he have the same impact again ? I think, maybe not. A good player, but a squad player with pace. But thats what we need.
Looking at next year our guaranteed starters would probably be Howard,Baines,Jags,Heitinga,Pienaar,Arteta and probably Cahill. The rest will be rotated.

You Forgot Fellaini he will be a shoe in for starting 11 for sure if he picks up where he left off

Disagree. Pace offers us the chance to beat a man, then get behind the defence and play the simple ball across goal or whatever.

26 years old and very quick. Been one of the key figures in keeping Zaragoza up since he joined in January. He was great for Malaga last season and went to Italy in the summer (Lazio?) for something like 1.5 million. Not saying he's top notch but could be a useful addition down the right and, I would suspect, within our budget
