This hasn't actually been in a paper or rumoured, but I saw this lads been let go by Man Utd, presumably because of his injury problems, which admittedly are very bad and extended, BUT when he's fit I won't apologise for suggesting that he's possibly one of the world's finest midfield players, So the question is would he be worth taking the risk on on say a pay as you play contract?, yes would be my opinion.

Depends on how much he will cost us but if we can get him fit and get him on a pay as you play could be a good call!!

I would love to see any athlete return to the game they love and be productive... Maybe a slow pre-season introduction against an inferior opponent (MLS) will be just what he needs.
