Do you have any proof to back this up ?

If not, it's pretty pointless discussing it.

And the Ofoe thing WAS NOT THE CLUB'S FAULT.

so whos fault was it?

from what ive read is he was going to fulham for a fee too. then efc turned up!!

you seem to know that it wasnt down to efc so do tell!

From what has been said in public the FA fully supported Everton's bid and said they had completed all necessary paperwork in time.

It's a link on toffeeweb to a story from the sporting life.

But its apparently Evertons fault that the work permit has not been finalised by UK immigration.

And, them bastards at FIFA have under staffed UK immigration apparently.

You [Poor language removed] Blatter.

If Platini screws the passport office up I will go radio rental.

I'm not so sure mate. Uk immigration being a Gov body anticipates busy periods and allows for extra staff to deal with the demand. The transfer deadline is set in stone and therefore can be anticipated and planned for every year. So they are bound to have either extra staff on to process or a special section set up to deal with football related work visas. Especially considering football is a multimillion £ industry.

Imagine all those very rich, very powerful club owners crying to any politician they can get thier hands on about red tape etc.

But back to my original point. I understand there's a lot of factors at play here, but it just seems to me that other clubs don't have the same problems in this area as we do (or at least to the same degree and frequency). It's just very frustrating.

Football is football. Unpredictable in its nature. However, behind the scenes is business. You can improve your practices constantly and learn from your mistakes. All I'm saying is that in this area we don't seem to be doing that.
