£68m is right mate, i read that myself. It was in deloitte or one of those finance type groups who worked it out, then it was in either the telegraph or the times were there figures were presented. They did it for all the prem clubs and worked out what debt they thought they were in

I knew I didnt just read it on kipper. :D

Never said they have? I'm saying if Moyes didn't bring the success he has to Everton, we'd probably be in bigger trouble then we are now.

If Moyes didn't join Everton, Everton would be in the Championship, i'm pretty sure of it.

Yeh agree lad, we'd be in deep were in that for Moyes, but you said had we sold Lescott and Tets, Moyes would of walked, again i agree. But if we were really in that much mess, we would have had to sell the players and sacrificed Moyes in order for the club to still be here. We haven't though so from that, i'm assuming were not in a MASSIVE mess, just a little one financially

Oh right, respect to you and Goat. How have we got in that state. Compared with our debt, how bad a shape are Chelsea and Liverpool in?

Oh right, repect to you and Goat. How have we got in that state. Compared with our debt, how bad a shape are Chelsea and Liver****e?

Chelsea owe Roman £700m and the RS owe somebody roughly the purchase price of the club, which I think was £400m? Plus any interest.

I'm pretty sure if the right offer came in for both of them, then they would leave.

So a £68 million debt is small fry in comparison. I knew we where more financially stable. What are we all arguing for? :D

I cant see them calling in the loans, we are paying them off, slowly, it would only be when we started spending more than we are getting in, thats when they would panic.

The reason we have so little money is we are up to our threshold. We cant increase the overdraft much, nor do we really want to. And in the current climate its hard to get any decent loans. Nobody wants a high risk football club loan.

What is everyone worried for? Is it the same old **** every season, quickly followed by a relatively successful season? Ok, just so I know.
