I'm guessing around 10-15 million, probably closer to 10 million to be honest. No one knows what the budget will be, I doubt Moyes knows yet.

I think it's just a case of buying well and looking for bargains. Not blowing it all on one player like last summer.

We never blew all last summer in fairness Toccy. The £15 million spent on Fellaini was from the profit sales of AJ and McFadden.

Moyes has said himself that all he asks for from the board is at least one big signing every summer. They have not let him down in that respect and as i say, with the squad we have already, the youngsters who are coming through, you add a player to that i think we are in for a very good year again next year.

If you don't think signing deals like the one we have with kitbag is not progress then that's fair enough lad, but i don't ever remember Everton being apart of deals like the one we have. It seemed only the United's of this world could do that

It's progress but it should of happened much earlier.

So we add one big signing to the current squad, we'd be able to compete with the top 4? Christ.

Disagree lad, if we were in that bad a state, the Lescott's and Arteta's would have been at City by now

We have debts of over £68m mate. We have nothing left to sell but the players. We get big crowds, big Tv money, low wages, we spend £3m a season NET. Where do you think all the money goes? To pay off the loans clearly.

Yeh i agree mate, but if we were really in the poo, bigtime poo, i think Lescott and Arteta would have been sold in january

Maybe I was a bit harsh, we have debts, but they arent huge debts, the bank knows if it needs its money, it can sell GP, sell all the players and close us down. We should be able to cover the outstanding £68m, so basically we are not totally screwed.

But a big chunk of our income is paid out in interest. Im not pointing fingers, the money hasnt been "wasted" as such. It runs around in blue most weekends. But the board have made huge mistakes with regards income.

Well the money from AJ and McFadden should have been used more carefully, we still blew it on one player.

So why has the club not gone under?

Never said they have? I'm saying if Moyes didn't bring the success he has to Everton, we'd probably be in bigger trouble then we are now.

If Moyes didn't join Everton, Everton would be in the Championship, i'm pretty sure of it.

£68m is right mate, i read that myself. It was in deloitte or one of those finance type groups who worked it out, then it was in either the telegraph or the times were there figures were presented. They did it for all the prem clubs and worked out what debt they thought they were in
