We always make one big signing every summer, so chill and enjoy it. We have a boss boss team with some great potential coming through. Throw that in with just one big summer signing and we'l be sound.

Even if we haven't signed anyone by August 25th 2009, i won't be getting in nearly as much of a state as last year. I seriously think the club has yet again progressed this year, on and off the field.

Why's that then?

The new deal with kitbag, the new city centre store, they are huge news for us, we are, as far as i'm concerned, are now getting a lot more attention and making the FA Cup final has made us more attractive in the sense we can sell more merchandise and sign more deals with company's like kitbag in the future

David Moyes won't be seeing the money, so it doesn't matter.

Because financially Everton can't afford to give the manager any sort of decent transfer budget.

Debts and Kirkby is the boards priority.

If Everton didn't have David Moyes, we'd be in financial ruin by now.

I was led to believe Kirkby was a seperate issue to transfer funds. We do have debts but they are in a controlled manner, unlike at Liverpool and Chelsea.

Moyes has said himself that all he asks for from the board is at least one big signing every summer. They have not let him down in that respect and as i say, with the squad we have already, the youngsters who are coming through, you add a player to that i think we are in for a very good year again next year.

If you don't think signing deals like the one we have with kitbag is not progress then that's fair enough lad, but i don't ever remember Everton being apart of deals like the one we have. It seemed only the United's of this world could do that

I'm guessing around 10-15 million, probably closer to 10 million to be honest. No one knows what the budget will be, I doubt Moyes knows yet.

I think it's just a case of buying well and looking for bargains. Not blowing it all on one player like last summer.

I think we will blow it on one player, but that the other signings will be bosmans, or the young unknowns we've already signed.

So you still believe it even though we spent no money until August 31st in the summer?
