Who has been our biggest disappointment this year?

Who is the performer that needs to go back to the drawing board and refill the tank?

Poll to be included (y)

Votes not made public on this one so be honest.

For me, it's a tough one, but I feel Cahill, Howard, Yobo, Yakubu, and Gosling have been pretty poor by their own standards, and Moyes deserves a little mention too.

My vote after consideration must go to Cahill though.

1.yobo ( maybe he's bored being here for a long time)

2. Yakubu ( still dunno what the hell is wrong with him)

3. Hibbert ( he's poor all over,he's lived up to his standards)

4. Cahill ( poor but has been professional)

The majority of them to honest. Louis Saha and Steven Pienaar are the only ones who have been consistent. You've got three or four who have been decent at times but inconsistent and quite a few who have been dogshit.

In terms of expectations, probably Tim Cahill. You expect someone like him to stand up and be counted and sadly, it just hasn't gone for him this season. Even in his natural position, for me, he's underperformed.

Cahill. He can do way more than hes shown this season.

I couldnt say the Yak, the man has been out for almost a year and started playing when the entire team was in poor form. Mark my words that man will make us remember why we loved him so much.

Indeed.

And he hasn't even been a regular, he's been used sparingly. The ones who are having a go at him simply don't under the seriousness of the injury he had.

He's done well to get back to the level he is at to be honest.

I know its early in the poll but damn thats harsh on Cahill. He's been a makeshift everything so far this season and still manages to deliver fairly often like last night. On top of that Jo and Yobo have been absolutely ordinary this season whilst (except for the last couple of games for Yobo) being fully fit and being played in their chosen possies.

this is a tough one.

neil , he hasnt done much at all , but then again he hasnt done much wrong either.

baines , he has been below par in the odd game but brilliant in others.consistancy is his problem at the moment.

distin , pretty much the same as baines.

cahill , lots of effort and fighting for the ball but up untill recently has lacked an end product to most of his game.

gosling , looks like he is struggling imo.seems to be lacking pace , strength , a cross and a shot.like cahill , he shows effort but where is the end product ?

jo , this is a strange one as i do like him and he looks like he really enjoys playing for us . but i just feel he is a bit clumsy with the ball and a bit limp and slow with his decisions.im sure that if he can be a be a bit more aggresive and direct he would be a much better player.

yak , hes been very huff and puff , lacking a shot and influence since his injury.

lastly yobo , lets face it , he hasnt had the best of seasons.but on the whole i think there have been less influencial players than him in our team , so im going to give him a break.

and the winner is....... gosling.it may seem harsh as he is only a young lad , but i just dont think his performances have made much of a contribution or influenced our overall results.(same with 2nd and 3rd)

2nd neil
3rd yak
