use the supposed 150mil new money and at least another 80mil from sales (200+ total) to bring in 4/5 world class players if they can be convinced to come. selling or releasing the above would free up almost 450k per week in wages that would cover wages for 2 top players. new tv deal would cover the other 2 or 3 players wages.

Thats 19 players with a couple of young lads in there and we would still need 6 players ideally taking us to 25 (3 forwards and another CM)

As @MoutsGoat said alot depends on the manager if he plays young players (De Boer likely to) or goes for experience (mourinho).

I think Barry jags and baines will be kept for a season due to experience and helping bring through the younger players but wont see much game time at least after Xmas.

We need to sign a goalkeeper, a centerback who can play rb, a central midfielder, a left winger and a striker. Then you have your 25 men squad.

As little as the likes of Hibbert, Pienaar, Gibson, Howard, Osman have contributed this season, they are all big characters in the dressing room. It's going to be interesting to see how we replace them/who steps up in their absence.
