Definitely Phil Jagielka.

Despite not being needed for at least the past three years, he's bravely stuck around to ensure our new central defenders can live and perform up to the high expectations he set as our captain and most loyal piece of the furniture at Goodison Park.

Absolutely a legend and fabulous servant to the club.

Seconded. Just look at the stare he gave to Lukaku after he scored. His passion and ferocity knew no bounds...

It's weird how some folk try and paint people like Carsley as though they're Roy Keane, yet dismiss Hibbo as a yard dog. Both were limited in many ways, yet did their primary role very well. I'll never bash a limited player like Hibbert for getting the best out of themselves, when we've got a team stuffed full of much more talented players who are not playing even close to their potential.

Baines would have gone to Utd in the blink of an eye tbf. The only thing any of them are loyal to is their wallet

...Hibbert is a prime example of a very ordinary modern footballer who earned millions from the game whilst many of the true Everton greats live on an old age pension.

To play 265 league games on a football pitch without scoring a single goal is shameful and testimony to how poor he was. He’s simply not worthy of highlighting in a thread like this.

ZING!
