well the answer isn't to play a lone striker who cannot pass, cross, hold up the ball, get involved and just score weird goals falling into the goal etc

as I said, he'd be a decent option from the bench but starting a game is just a big no. all his goals come from him being a nuisance not from being a good footballer

we need a proper striker

I must be watching the wrong game as I swear I saw Niasse setting up a sitter for Siggy to miss.

Also DCL has only scored 2 goals in 17 premiership appearances. Hardly goal scoring form.

Its mad isnt it?

His first against Bournemouth was a cracking goal. Won the ball from a tackle, played a nice ball across, ran into space whilst beating the offside trap then controlled a ball in tight space and rasped a shot into the back of the net. It was a fantastic goal.

WHAT MORE DO PEOPLE WANT?

I know which sitter you mean, at the gwladers street? was hardly great football though was it

and I agree on DCL mate, which is why im saying we need a new striker

Are we talking about Niasse or Calvert-Lewin here?

It was effective football apart from the finish.

Effective football is better than great football. Niasse scoring 5 in 8 all of which resulted in us getting 7 points shows that he is rather effective.
