He missed a howler last night which would have made the final few minutes a lot more comfortable.
I would keep him as supersub. Don't sell him. He's a cert to come back and haunt us!

Awful player.
Spare me the "he ran all night", so what? It's the least he could do. Stracquilirsi did the same, and he's on a par with him.
Tosun may or may not be the answer but certainly needs an opportunity to prove himself ahead of this guy. Those misses last night were shocking.

Agreed. Tosun runs, too.

He was even undisciplined last night on D. The LCFC center backs love carrying the ball forward - stupidly i might add - and he got out of position several times when it was clear he was supposed to close them down.

Name me a player who has never missed a chance?

And it was one chance he missed that was shocking. The other was down to bad touch from a chance he set up himself.

He adds balance and makes our whole shape better.

Tosun will get a chance. And when he gets it he needs to take it. You shouldn't change a winning team anyway.

People are far too worried about how Niasse looks etc playing wise. The end results are all that matters and more often than not we play better, score goals and win games when he plays.

what about those misses against west brom, Watford, Bournemouth, sunderland, arsenal, palace

unbelievable, I mean he gets a goal or two but he is absolutely shocking isn't he. the open goal he missed is just unreal, then a second after we scored our second he took the ball of the defender through on goal and he just ran into the keeper, sure he missed another sitter from a corner from a couple of yards out that went wide @ the gwladers

there was even something at the same end were siggy drew a save from the keeper ( a foul was given anyway ) but niasse tried this double footed overhead kick and just ended up on his arse

can fully understand the reason behind keeping him, because he'll come on sometimes and nick a goal but as far as starting when tosun a proven champions league quality striker is sitting on the bench is one of many reasons why that fat donkey in charge needs putting in a skip

No he is not shocking!

Typical Everton these days though isn't it? Why focus on his positive traits (and he does have them) lets just slate him because that's what we do.

We won last night with him playing and our proven champions league striker not getting a touch. That is all that matters.

That was Martina Joey.
Yes noticed on MOTD last night also kicked one off the line - so probably one of his better games for us - my worry is when he has a fast winger on him Leicester missed a trick last night they raided Colemans side to our advantage thank goodness
CuCu had a dodgy start but the whole team played well too, he grew in confidence!

he is shocking like, when we win we do focus on the positives ( yesterdays case it was Walcott and coleman mostly )

he is not good enough to be starting for us in the league, do you think he is?

he missed a sitter in front of goal, im pretty sure even harry kane has done that at least once in his career

the second chance he created himself by pressing the defence

the corner was not a clear chance, it came at him at speed and he had no time to react

the attempted overhead kick was not a clear chance either, the ball was behind him and it wouldn't have counted anyway

Yes I do because he is and we won when he did.

He makes space for others, he makes good runs that stretch the opposition so they can't just sit back like the usually do against us.

People are being way to simplistic in their thinking when they look at Niasse and just think "nah, hes not good enough". He has traits that are very useful for us.

He is nowhere near as bad as some make out, like not even close. If "talent" was the only thing that mattered Lee Trundle would have been as good as Messi etc.

There is more than one way to get the job done in football and personally in our current set up I think Niasse is a vital player in enabling us to play more expansively.
