Caught diving via tv after game: 2 game ban.

Fine, have the little kangaroo court for the 'dive'. But EFC and other clubs need to kick up an almighty stink if this isn't being applied consistently (Jesus how many did Rs get in one season when they almost won it), complaint or no complaint.

The real problem here is that if convicted Niasse will be battered by defenders and never win another penalty, a la Andy Johnson after that cretin said he always dives...........

They needed someone to be the fall guy for the first application of this. They wouldn’t dare touch a media darling like Alli or Sterling who have both done high profile dives this season. Far easier just to shaft Everton instead.

Had a first look at it. There’s upper body contact. Think it would be harsh to be honest. Did he go down too easily - yes. But during the course every game you see plenty of examples.

Oumar is purely victim of the one inch foul which is similar to that of the Bruce Lee one inch punch. I very much doubt Oumar has the technique to fool refs into awarding penalties. Perhaps showing videos of his Everton debut, under Martinez, to the FA panel will show he has no real control over his body movement.

The minute a dive isn't retrospectively punished, it'll put the the whole thing on it's arse.

The minute big name players get banned, it'll get put out to bed.

The minute loads of players get banned and the argument of what's a dive and what isn't comes into play, it'll get binned.
