As was the Sunderland goal, he's got a finish in him no doubt. But he gets his share of deserved luck by chasing down lost causes as well. He's now a very valuable asset to have, what a turnaround in a matter of months.

Such a thing as making your own luck which for me is what he is doing.

Will have to see how it goes on, cannot expect him to score in every game but we can expect him to give everything he has got.

Surely now it's obvious he is our first choice striker for now.

And the fact koeman didn't see this (in fact tried to get rid of him) just highlights again how incompetent he was during his time as manager with us.

He’s still a pretty terrible footballer but like Strac he works hard so gets some respect. All his goals seem lucky somehow.

Its been said before he isn't blessed with ability but his work rate, attitude, commitment and personality are his strong points. It's got to the point with me that if someone offered 13m for him I'd want us to turn it down, even if we signed a striker or two in January. He's setting a great example to everyone around him.

I've been one of his worst critics as well so I am more than happy he has proven me wrong.

The ball went over the line played advantage - should have carded him too! Maybe a yellow allowing the goal to stand !
